Joan "of the Tower" or "Make Peace"

     Joan was born on Saturday, 5 July 1321 at London, County Middlesex, England. She was born in the Tower of London to Edward II of Englnad & Isabella of France. Joan married David Bruce King David II of Scotland, son of Robert "The Bruce " I, King of Scotland and Elizabeth de Burgh, on 17 July 1328 at Berwick-On-Tweed, Northumberland, England. The river Tweed separates the two countries Scotland & England. This marriage was designed to end the hostilities between the countries of England & Scotland. They were crowned & annointed as King & Queen of Scotland 24 November 1331. Joan departed this life on Tuesday, 7 September 1362 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, at age 41 years, 2 months and 2 days. Joan was laid to rest in the Greyfriar Churchyard, London, County Middlesex, England, near her mother. It is now called Christ Church.
