     Charles was born on Wednesday, 14 September 1892 at Williamsburg, Franklin County, Kansas. He was the son of Daniel E. Bogart and Emma McCurdy. Charles resided all his life in Williamsburg. He was the first Franklin County man to enlist in World War I & was a private in 137th Infantry. 2 February 1920, the U.S. Federal Census listed Charles living in the home of his father at Williamsburg, Franklin County, Kansas. Enumerated in this household were Daniel E. Bogart [75 New Jersey - widow] & his son, Charlie [28 Kansas]. Daniel is a barber & Charlie is a butcher.1 Charles died on Saturday, 4 May 1968 at the Topeka Veterans Hospital, Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas, at age 75 years, 7 months and 20 days at 5:45 pm.
