     Ragnarsson, was born at Dublin, Ireland. He was the son of Lodbrock, Ragnar (?) and Sigurdsdottir, Aslaug (?). Ragnarsson, departed this life in 873 at Dublin, Ireland. He acceded to the throne in 856. He conquered York in 866-867 & is credited as being the slayer of St. Edmund of East Anglia in 869. He has six sons.
