On Mr. Hoffman's recommendation, she went to Paris with her brother, Wm. H. Leggett, where both she and her brother studied at the Paris Conservatory. May Leggett completied the four-year course at the Conversatory in just two years. Her teachers there were Charles Dancla and Eugene Brenne.
