Elizabeth Hicks Leggett

She was the daughter of Augustus Wright Leggett and Elizabeth Seaman. She also went by the name of Lizzie. Her married name was Snow. Elizabeth Hicks Leggett married David L. Snow [27 Massachusetts - traveling agent], Elizabeth [21 New York].² Her married name was Barthel. Elizabeth married 2nd Adolph A. Barthel on 7 October 1882 at 169 Elizabeth Street East, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. 18 April 1910, Elizabeth and her husband Adolph were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Citronelle Village, Mobile County, Alabama. Enumerated in this household were Adolph Barthel [67 Germany], Elizabeth H. [60 New York]. They had been married 28 years with no children. He was a patent lawyer. He immigrated to the United States in 1872. They lived on State Street.³ Elizabeth departed this life on Monday, 21 October 1912 at Citronelle Village, Mobile County, Alabama, at age 63 years and 3 days.
