     Anna was born on Wednesday, 19 April 1848 at the family home at "Hillside", Roslyn, Queens County, Long Island, New York, at 4:00 pm.

She was the daughter of Augustus Wright Leggett and Elizabeth Seaman. She also went by the name of Annie. Her married name was Christian. Anna married William Henry Christian on 6 June 1867 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Her married name was Randall. Anna married 2nd an unknown person on 9 May 1874 at her parent's home at 169 Elizabeth Street East, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Cory was one of Detroit's first photographers, beginning his work as a teenager in 1856. He later donated some 75,000 prints and negatives of early Detroit and its people and visitors to Mr. Burton, who put them in his collection now housed in the Detroit Public Library. Cory was first married 12 October 1864 to Bella C. Rose, daughter of Dr. Levi C. and Cerillia Rose of Detroit. She died young 8 February 1866 and she is buried in Elmwood Cemetery. 15 June 1880, Anna and her husband Corydon were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Ives [46 New York][border-artist], Margaret [36 New York], Augustus [19 Michigan], Percival S. [16 Michigan], Valentine S. [9 Michigan], Bertha Neuman [20 Michigan][servant], Flora McDermitt [22 Scotland][servant]. Corydon was a photographer.2 16 June 1900, Anna was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Waterford Township, Oakland County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Anna S. Randall [52 New York - April 1848 - widow], Ellarosa [16 Michigan - September 1883], Mortimer A. [15 Michigan - August 1884]. Anna is a widow having two children, two living. She lives in a house with a mortgage. [Note: mistake - Anna was not a widow at this time - klm]3 Anna's husband, Corydon, died on 31 August 1907 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at age 61 years, 2 months and 17 days, leaving her a widow. 27 April 1910, Anna was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Anna S. Randall [61 New York], Elrose [27 Michigan]. They were living at 137 East Warren Avenue. Anna was a widow with eight children, 6 living.4 1920, Anna was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Waterford Township, Oakland County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Anna S, Randall [65 New York], Ferris [40 Michigan][widow], Feris Jr. [10 Old Mexico], Anita [3 1/2 Oklahoma], Elrose [34 Michigan - psychologist].5 15 January 1920, Anna was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at the Village of Birmingham, Oakland County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were John J. Gaffill [43 Germany], Deborah [42 Michigan], John W. [16 Michigan], David L. [11 Michigan], Anna S. Randall [73 New York][widow][autn]. They were living at 506 Southfield.6 Anna was laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan. She was buried alongside her parents. The cemetery records state: 1848-5 December 1934 age 87 years - grave 4-447. Anna departed this life on Wednesday, 5 December 1934 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 86 years, 7 months and 16 days.
