He owns a drug store.² 7 April 1930, John and his wife, Frances, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Okanogan, Okanogan County, Washington, at 787 Oak Street. Enumerated in this household were John S. Evenden [43 Illinois] & Frances [42 Kansas]. He was 25 when first married and she was 24. He is a proprietor of a drugstore, she is a sales lady at the drugstore. They own their home valued at $4000.³ 20 April 1940, John and his wife, Frances, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Okanogan, Okanogan County, Washington, at 787 Oak Street.
