Elizabeth Hicks

     Elizabeth was born on Monday, 10 June 1805 at Westbury, Hempstead Township, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Isaac Hicks & Sarah Doughty of Westbury. Elizabeth married Dr. William Ferris Seaman, son of Dr. Valentine Seaman and Anna Ferris, on 30 October 1822 in Westbury, Hempstead Township, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Elizabeth's husband, an unknown person , died on 12 January 1827 in the family home at 300 Pearl Street, New York City, New York County, New York, leaving her a widow. Elizabeth married 2nd William Cock circa 1830 in New York. Elizabeth departed this life on Monday, 2 January 1865 in Westbury, Hempstead Township at age 59 years, 6 months and 23 days.
